I have just been informed of a traffic accident on Church Street, Oughtibridge. The police have closed the road and as a result the school buses to Wharncliffe Side and Oughtibridge will have to travel via Hillsborough and Middlewood Road. This will create considerable delay - please be patient. Student living on Church Street or above will need to walk to school as the school bus will not be able to collect them.

Situated on the edge of the village of Worrall, in the parish of Bradfield, we are most fortunate to be located in a rural environment on the edge of the Peak District combining the dramatic vistas of the surrounding hills and valleys with the cultural, economic and industrial advantages that the dynamic city of Sheffield can offer.
Our ethos can be described as follows:
"At Bradfield we put our students first. We believe that we have created a challenging and caring school environment that offers the right balance between academic excellence and the recognition of each young person’s unique skills and qualities. This allows us to provide the best, most rounded education possible, giving your child every opportunity to flourish and fulfil their potential, both in terms of academic success and personal growth. We are also committed to a concept of continuous development and improvement. We are a happy and successful school that cares for each individual student. Bradfield School encourages the traditional values of hard work, high levels of personal achievement and consideration for others, whilst also preparing young people for the demands of modern society."
We use our Scientific Engineering Specialist School status to benefit all students, and the community, by improving facilities and resources in all curriculum areas, and by helping students develop skills that will assist them in all areas of their future lives.
As part of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme we are scheduled for a rebuild, to be completed in 2012 - an exciting prospect which we are confident will further establish Bradfield School as a school of excellence.
We know that this development relies upon a positive working relationship between home, school, the local community and the wider environment. We are delighted that parents continue to offer a high level of support. At Bradfield School we will endeavour to respond to any issues you raise with us, and would encourage you to share any concerns at an early stage.
