- All mobile phones have been banned from school since July 2005
- This decision was taken as a result of concerns over potential bullying and child abuse issues
- Any student found with a mobile phone, either switched on or off, will have it confiscated and it will only be returned to a responsible adult on a Thursday afternoon between 3:15 and 4:00pm
- Students have access to a landline pay telephone (which accepts denominations of 10p, 20p, 50p, and £1)
- Parents can contact school on 2863861 in an emergency and a message will be passed on to their son/daughter
