NVQ is a qualification in business French aimed at equipping learners with the communication and language skills they may need in the workplace e.g. welcoming visitors, sending an email or taking a ‘phone call from abroad.

Assessment
The NVQ course is assessed through a portfolio of work. There is no formal examination at the end of the course. Pupils complete a series of assessed tasks to test their knowledge.
At level 1 students are performing at the same level as Foundation level GCSE (D-G grades).
At level 2 students are performing at the same level as Higher level GCSE (A*-C grades).
