Bradfield’s governors are important to the running of the School and are responsible for reviewing and monitoring the many policies, plans and procedures within which the School operates.
The role of the governor involves us in the many areas of school life including:
• Curriculum
• Budget management
• Staffing & recruiting
• Pupil discipline
• Health & safety
• School improvement
• Performance management
Bradfield has 20 Governors in total at present, this being the maximum allowed. Our backgrounds are varied with our breadth of experience coming from both the public and private sectors. This gives us a wide range of knowledge and expertise to work strategically with the Head and Bradfield’s staff to achieve the “good standard of education” * Bradfield offers to every student.
