Homework
Your teacher will set you homework every week. Make sure you write what it is, in your planner, along with the date it is due in.
You should be able to get it done in about 20 to 30 minutes. If you find it too tricky, find your teacher, and ask them for some help.
Assessments
You will be assessed at regular intervals throughout the year. You will do three formally assessed pieces of work each term. These assessment tasks are open ended and usually take one lesson to complete. Your teacher will grade the work and offer you some constructive comments to help you to improve in future assessments. There is a formal test towards the end of each term.
